Complete kit allows you to convert your 1968-1970 Type 2 transaxle for use with late style T/O bearing components. In the earlier set up the T/O bearing just kind of hangs in limbo supported by a simple clip on either side. When one or both of the clips unhinges or fails the TO bearing and other parts aren’t far behind. Our conversion kit permanently eliminates those problems. The supplied collar and seal press easily and securely into the case keeping the new style bearing, centered on the pressure plate. Each kit also includes a new late style cross shaft, bushings and spring.
